This year’s Glastonbury Festival saw me lead the Telegraph’s live-blogging team from 8am to 7pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My efforts helped to pull in four-figure shares and five-figure views and, by the last day, we found our coverage taking Google News’ #1 slot, ahead of the Guardian and the BBC.
- Friday as it happened: Florence + the Machine and The Libertines
- Saturday as it happened: Kanye West and Suede
- Sunday as it happened: The Who, Lionel Richie and the Dalai Lama
NB: To avoid lagging on mobile devices, the live-blogs were archived at regular intervals from Saturday onwards, thus resetting their share counts to zero. The correct share counts still remain on the late-evening blogs, which were published over my original live-blog files in order to retain our SEO ranking. Friday’s live-blog is unaffected by this.
